About Me

A corner of an office room with a window showing a cityscape view, a tan leather swivel chair, a small wooden desk with white metal legs, a white vase with green leafy plants, and two abstract framed paintings on the wall.

Hi, I'm Joseph Han, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner!

My interest in mental health started long before my professional training. Growing up, I saw the impact that mental illness could have on friends, family members, and the people around me. I also saw how the right support and treatment could help people heal, recover, and move forward, which inspired me to become a clinician who helps people navigate through those challenges.

Today, I'm an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and NYU-trained clinician with over eight years of experience in the mental health field.  I have worked and trained across numerous settings including inpatient, community health, and faith-based settings. However, psychiatry is not just my profession, it’s also my passion. I find great joy and personal reward in helping people break through personal barriers and grow into the lives they want for themselves.

I'm passionate about this work because I've seen how meaningful treatment can bring hope and change lives. Along the way, I often find myself learning from my clients as much as they learn from me, as I’m continually inspired by their resilience, courage, and capacity for growth.

I want to support your mental health journey.
